Auctions announced for July 2025

I🌱 Renewable Energy Auctions 2025: Key Dates and Opportunities 🌱
The President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE) has announced the 2025 schedule for auctions of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES). This year’s auctions will take place from July 1 to July 9, 2025, offering a total of 75.9 TWh of green energy with a maximum value of over 31 billion PLN.
Auction Highlights:
• July 1-2: Auctions for installations using landfill biogas, sewage treatment biogas, other biogases, biomass combustion, hybrid systems, waste-to-energy plants (including high-efficiency cogeneration), and multi-fuel combustion installations.
• July 3: Auctions for agricultural biogas installations with capacities exceeding 1 MW.
• July 4 & 7: Auctions for hydro, biofuel, and geothermal energy sources in two capacity categories (≤1 MW and >1 MW).
• July 8-9: Final auctions for photovoltaic and onshore wind installations, also divided into two capacity categories (≤1 MW and >1 MW).
